How to write a blog post

Consider your topic:
In order to start a blog post, you will need to craft your content. Consider what your readers want answers to and how they may want these delivered. Make sure you create something, which matters to your audience, and they’ll be chomping at the bit for more. If you know your audience, you’ll know what’s most important to them.

Choosing a headline:
Your readers will always sit up and take notice of a compelling headline. After all, this is what will promise them the answers they are looking for. Crafting a high quality headline creates a clear message so the reader knows instantly what the topic is about. The words you choose need to make sense – don’t be too clever.
Content is king:
Finding the right style:
Content may be king but so is consistency. Your style will develop as you write more posts. Consequently, once you have nailed your style, this is how your audience will trust your brand. The key is to captivate your crowd and teach them what you have learned. So, we suggest you leave corporate content at the back door and instead concentrate on telling a powerful story. Your blog post should display emotions and, at the same time, you need to keep your content concise.
Why use subheads?
A good subhead will evoke curiosity and your audience will be keen to read more. You want them to keep reading don’t you? A boring subhead will make your readers switch off while one, which isn’t clear will just confuse.

Follow a format:
Deliver your advice and information using a clear format. Add depth and make your posts matter. Your content needs to have a point for it to gain traction. Don’t forget to add a call to action – asking your audience to do something helps them to ‘join in’ and cement your relationship with them.

Why have a business blog?
